After searching high and low for a large tailor's ham and an older fashioned curved dresser's ham, I finally decided to take on the project myself and I now have two new designs under my belt. These types of hams are readily available in England, but due to the weight and size of them, the shipping costs came out to almost $85 just for one of these things. I couldn't find anyone selling them within the US unless they were vintage and also at a premium price. Talk about an incentive to make my own. Not only was it way cheaper (I had all the materials I needed on had already) but it was also way faster making these myself than waiting for something in the post. All I needed to do was pattern them out and then get to cutting and sewing.

These things couldn't have come into my life soon enough, talk about tools that make a sewer's job easier!
